We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Izzi Software, dedicated to acquiring and nurturing innovative businesses in the IBM z and IBM Power industries. Our vision for Izzi is that it will become a trusted provider  in the enterprise and midrange software space by bringing together successful companies and solutions that serve the mission-critical needs of its users.

In its first major move, Izzi Software has acquired ColeSoft, a Virginia-based leader in debugging tools for IBM mainframes. After spearheading outreach in the space, Jennifer Nelson has officially joined as CEO. Steve Nelson, whose career includes 15 years at Rocket Software and executive leadership roles at CCA and VMS Software, will work alongside Jennifer to steer the company as it continues to acquire complimentary companies throughout 2025.

Izzi’s mission is to revitalize and expand the ecosystem of tools and services that have long been the backbone of enterprise and midrange systems infrastructure. By building a portfolio of innovative companies, Izzi ensures these foundational systems remain indispensable in the modern world.
